Hello Kiddy Academy parents and students,

My name Is Marc Atkinson and I’m from Northern Ireland. I have been in Hanoi since mid 2014 and live with my wife Huong and baby daughter, Aeris Tú Anh.I have been working at Cleverlearn Ba Dinh and a number of primary and secondary schools including Thuc Nghiem, Giang Vo and Luong the Vinh over the last four and a half years as well as kindergarten-age children, and find younger learners extremely rewarding to work with as they show real enthusiasm and openness. I am also an artist and have been drawing for almost all of my life.I met and got introduced to the students of this class last Wednesday, and am looking forward to creating an enjoyable environment for the us all in the classroom, and hopefully making a positive impact on everyone.

Hello Kiddy Academy parents and students,

I would like to take this opportunity to write to you to let you know that I have gratefully took the position as the new kindergarten teacher in Kiddy Academy. I would just like to express my gratitude for receiving this position and I hope to fulfill it to my full potential.

I am from Northern Ireland and have worked in a school for five years back home, as well as working in summer schemes and child day care. Throughout my experience I have had the privilege of working with children of all ages, ranging from nursery up to school leavers. This has given me a vast understanding of working with children of all ages and abilities. My time working in these settings has enabled me to develop a range of practical skills which come in very useful in the classroom. I have always had the desire to help and assist children and I believe this will reflect in my work.

I have been in Hanoi just a little under two months now and I am very excited to start my new teaching adventure with Kiddy Academy, as they provide a warm and friendly environment for everyone. I look forward to getting to know your children and watching them grow and develop as we explore a wide range of topics, which will assist them with the foundations to carry on their educational road.

My name is Ross Anderson, 33 years old, come from British. I have 8 years combined teaching experience in UK, Korea, China, Vietnam. I am passionate to show young learners how to enjoy learning, and give them the tools to teach themselves. My targets for my time with K3 is to give them a fun, loving, and fair environment to build core character, motor and social skills. Everything else is secondary.

I would like to introduce myself as the new teacher of this class. A short introduction about myself, my name is Frankie; I am 26 years old from England. I am an eager teacher and receive a lot of pleasure in shaping young minds in a friendly, caring environment. I have been a teacher here in Vietnam for more than 4 years; teaching children in language centres, primary school and in kindergartens. I have met a lot of fantastic children in this time and have received great pleasure seeing how they have grown and developed; becoming more polite and confident through the years.

During my time in Vietnam, I have gained many skills and understanding of the way children learn and the culture here in Vietnam. I have recently left a position teaching grade 1 primary, which I believe gives me a good idea of how to best help the children at Kiddy Academy get ready to start their transition from kindergarten to primary school. I have lots of ideas of how to encourage the learning of young children; through a range of engaging activities and gripping lessons.

I am sure the children will enjoy every day while learning how to further develop their skills.  I will be working closely with my Vietnamese co-teachers to ensure the children we are teaching reach their full potential and enjoy their last year with Kiddy Academy.

I am eager and excited to continue this journey, learning with the children and the staff to make the learning experience comfortable and engaging. The children will leave us ready to take on their next challenge prepared and excited.
